Alan Cafiero is a commercial real estate agent with Marcus & Millichap specializing in net lease properties and retail investment sales across New Jersey and the Northeast. Based in the firm’s New Jersey office, Cafiero leads the region’s top-performing team, advising private and institutional clients on the disposition of retail shopping centers, single-tenant net lease assets, industrial, mixed-use, and office properties. With over 17 years of experience, he has closed more than 625 transactions totaling over $3.2 billion in commercial real estate sales. Cafiero is consistently recognized as a top producer within Marcus & Millichap, earning the Chairman’s Club Award, National Achievement Awards (2015–2025), and multiple Sales Recognition Awards. He was twice named to the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal’s Top 40 Under 40 list. He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and NAIOP, demonstrating his deep industry involvement and expertise in investment real estate throughout New Jersey and the broader Northeast. A graduate of Seton Hall University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Cafiero holds concentrations in finance and sports management. Outside the office, he enjoys golf, sports, and spending time with his wife, Kristie, and their three children.
